WHO WE ARE
Our team was formed when three people, with dreams to stop the advancing threat of climate change, banded together to form Team Pangea. As young people, we realized that they were going to have to bear the burden of climate change the most, and decided that this was not to be. Each of our team members has experience in climate science projects, and has done projects individually. We have specializations in graphic design, data analysis, app making, and research skills. We have experience in MIT Solve, JSHS, Bow Seat, and spreading awareness of climate change. Our team is uniquely equipped and motivated to offer a solution.

Hyowon Han
As a junior in high school, I plan to major in environmental science in college as I am passionate about studying and taking action to deal with environmental issues - especially climate change. Through project Pangea, my team and I are delighted to take part in providing people with the opportunity of adapting renewable energy sources and participating in combating climate change.
Celine Kim
I’m Alexis Celine Kim from Southern California, and I am currently a high school senior (17) who hopes to pursue a medical career in the future, planning to major in public health at Johns Hopkins for the next four years. The environment and climate (especially the changing climate patterns) are major influencers of health, as climage change can increase severe cases like cardiovascular disease. I have been growing determined to learn more about these intersections and innovations that can help combat environmental issues and hence benefit the health of countless populations, thus joining hands with my fellow teammates to develop Project Pangea, such a solution that lets more people join the effort towards a more renewable, a healthier world.

Taeho Lee
From elementary school, I have had a passion for contributing to the fight against climate change. From ocean acidification to geothermal solutions, I have accumulated experience to match my passion. As I grow older, and the effects of climate change intensify, I have developed not only zeal but understanding that sometimes climate change must be taken down collectively, a little at a time. To do this, I have joined Project Pangea to take part in offering solution to an aspect of climate change. I am ecstatic to provide a tangible, effective solution to climate change.
